Though as a whole the company has a corporate image the architecture team operates much like a medium sized independent practice, but one with the backup of a major company.

Over recent months there have been some changes in the management team and they are really looking to make their mark in the Yorkshire market and develop their profile. There are also hopes to develop the markets the team works in which will again raise their profile and allow the team to grow.

Currently the team work on a lot of higher/further education projects, BSF and are involved with local authority frameworks which provide a range of projects worth up to £10million.

Architectural Technologist / Technician required to join the design team of this large consultancy. Assisting the Architects in the team you will be responsible for concept design, production of drawings using AutoCAD and other information for planning, bids and presentation work and liaising with clients.

Qualifications/Skills Required

You will be a qualified Architectural Technician (CIAT) with experience of working on commercial and education projects. You will be AutoCAD literate with a comprehensive knowledge of UK Building Regulations and have experience dealing with clients.
