Job Description
Our prestigious client develops, manufactures and sells a range of world-class Amino Acid Analzers, UV/Visible Spectrophotometers, Microtitre Plate Readers and Microtitre Plate Washers.
Following excellent sales growth, the company wishes to appoint a AAA Development Manager who will be responsible for the development and technical support of their AAA Products, including hardware, software and consumables, notably chemicals.

Reporting to the R&D Director you will work closely with marketing in suggesting, specifying, planning and delivering exciting new AAA products, thereby assisting the company to achieve its turnover and profit targets. In addition, you will be responsible for providing day to day reactive technical support to other company departments, notably manufacturing and service.
Main duties:
* Working with marketing to jointly define a new product development programme designed to grow the turnover and profitability of the company's AAA products.
* The timely and on budget management of AAA development projects.
* Ensuring, with marketing and manufacturing colleagues, that all new AAA products meet customer performance and reliability expectations at launch and throughout their lifetime.
* The provision of fast, effective support to the AAA manufacturing and service operations.
Skills/Experience required:
* At least five years successful experience in the development of HPLC systems or similar.
* A chemistry background to at least first degree level.
* Hardworking, energetic, innovative and a team player.
