Job Description
Our client requires a design and development engineer, prodominantly electronics based on a range of high tech smoke detector equipment.
Work includes design, test specification defination, product development including software and firmware, customer and supplier liaison etc.
A good all round electronics engineer qualified to B.Eng HND/HNC with experience of electronic and electro-mechanical products.
Some software and firmware knowledge using C, C++, PIC and ASM.
Some simple mechanical experience would be useful.
Work is mainly digital(8051, PIC, Logic) but some analogue.
Good mix of skills required plus ability to fit into a small company.
