GROUP BUYING MANAGER – FROZEN & CHILLED FOODS
£35,000 to £40,000 BASIC SALARY PLUS UP TO 20% ANNUAL BONUS PLUS FULLY EXPENSED CAR PLUS PENSION PLUS PRIVATE HEALTH SCHEME
Our client is a well established Buying and Marketing Consortium providing group services for a number of wholesalers, who specialise in delivering chilled, frozen and ambient foods to the independent sector of the food service market. A position has arisen with in the organisation for a graduate calibre buying professional with a minimum of five years relevant buying experience either in a foodservice or retail environment. Current knowledge of frozen and chilled foods will be a distinct advantage. The job role will be to work with the Executive Director to develop and implement Group Buying and range strategies by negotiating on behalf of the Consortium members group trading terms, over-riders and pricing deals to increase members profitability. To be successful you will have a degree or other formal relevant qualification, be computer literate, have the ability to analyse and interpret data, combined with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
