Responsibilities

The Web Developer reports to the VP, Technology and is responsible for ensuring The company's websites and online applications are well maintained, continuously up, and upgrades are made in a timely and consistent manner.

1. Design, develop, administer and maintain dynamic and static pages
2. Monitor/manage hosting infrastructure
3. Perform security monitoring of our hosting infrastructure
4. Reporting
5. Manage our e-mail alerts web application & others
6. Code deployment to staging and production environments
7. Perform a variety of key projects

Experience

-Web: IIS, HTML, DHTML, Javascript, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET,
-Configure/troubleshoot IIS server
-Know performance implications of multiple-server design environments
-Database: MS SQL 2000, SQL enterprise manager, database connectivity, SQL programming and ADO.NET
-Languages\Platforms\Other: .NET framework, VB.NET, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, Object Oriented Programming principles and VSS

1. Experience w/networking & related technologies (LAN\WAN, VPN, SMTP, FTP)
2. Design and layout skills for web
3. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Ability to work independently and within a team
5. Ability to gather and analyze data, define problems and devise solutions
