Job Description
Our local client is looking for an experienced HR Administrator to assist the site HR Manager in the day to day running of the HR department and to provide an effective administration service to management and staff.
Main Duties:
Providing an efficient internal customer service to managers and employees by giving guidance on company policy and advice on employment law.
Assisting in the recruitment and selection of employees at all levels
Implementation and monitoring of absence management policy and procedure
Dealing with salary increments and weekly wage increases/amendments, ensuring that wages/salaries receive correct documentation and other information by appropriate deadlines
Liasing with the company doctor regarding pre-employment medical assessments, long-term sickness and ill health retirement assessments. Assisting the HR Manager with the depot absence management program.
Assisting with and providing guidance on disciplinary and grievance issues
Organising assessment days and attending as an assessor/facilitator for the recruitment of more senior positions
Delivering induction training and updating induction/welcome pack information
Organising internal and external training courses for managers and staff
Maintaining internal databases/spreadsheets and weekly/monthly management reports
Qualifications/Skills Required
·Implement the absence management policy and manage all day to day associated admin.
·Provide administrative support on all Employment relation matters.
·Co-ordinate training and development activity and mange all associated administration.
·Assist with recruitment and selection admin.
·Plus deal with any other HR admin related tasks.
