Job Description
General information:
The Litigation Costs Team is responsible for all matters involving costs arising out of Court Proceedings before all Divisions of the High Court, Court of Appeal, House of Lords and Privy Council. The team deals with the recovery and payment and / or assessment of costs, including preparation of detailed bills, and advancing detailed written submissions as relevant to each situation. The team ultimately deals with negotiations and is required to attend Court to conduct advocacy.
The role:
The Costs Draftsperson will be working within a team of two supporting the Litigation Division.

Experience required:
4+ years experience (prefereably gained in contentious costs)
Membership of ALCD preferable but not essential
Candidates will be expected:

to provide strong evidence of practice in a relevant area of work
