Procurement Manager
£30-35k (depending on experience)
North Kent

My client based in Dartford is looking to employ a Procurement Manager to establish an effective and viable procurement strategy & Storekeeping function for the company.

Main duties will include:

* establishing and reviewing a database of approved
Contractors and Suppliers

* Produce tender documents in line with contractual
requirements & make recommendations.

* Process all insurance claims & liaise with Insurers

* Manage the leasing, servicing and other associated
administrative processes relating to the Company
Vehicle Fleet

* Establish and maintain the Company's relationships
in terms of Contractors and Suppliers

* Oversee the establishment and operation of an efficient
storekeeping function

* Oversee the provision of a value-for-money onsite
canteen facility to ensure that a quality service is
provided to both internal & external customers

* Ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are met
and safe working practices are adopted at all times

If you have prior purchasing/procurement/bids & tender experience, are working towards or have attained a Chartered institute of Purchasing & Supply qualification - we would like to hear from you.
