Job Description

Project Coordinator
Leasehold Solutions is a niche property company that manages freehold acquisition and lease extensions on behalf of flat owners. It is the leader in its sector and heads the relevant professional association.

We are a quality- and process-driven organisation with many satisfied clients as well as a good team spirit and enjoyable working atmosphere. We work closely with the legal and surveying professions.

We are seeking a bright graduate to join our expanding team as Project Coordinator. This is an exciting, varied role and involves the following principal responsibilities:

- Managing a large number of projects and ensuring that all stages are coordinated effectively and efficiently
- Liaising with solicitors and valuers on a regular basis
- Creating and maintaining effective working relationships with clients
- Regularly updating clients by letter, telephone and email
- Attending occasional evening meetings (normally no more than one or two per month)
- Taking a creative approach to reviewing and improving the systems of the business
- Chasing potential clients and helping them to reach an informed decision about whether or not to proceed
- Handling incoming telephone enquiries

Qualifications/Skills Required

The position of Project Coordinator requires the meticulous coordination of projects. Key attributes will include the ability to communicate in an appropriate manner with all relevant parties including clients, valuers, solicitors and freeholders and with a small team of colleagues. A proactive approach is essential to ensure projects are managed effectively and efficiently ensuring client requirements are met on time, to required specification, quality and within budget.

The following attributes are necessary for the successful applicant, but no previous experience in this sector is necessary as full training will be provided:

- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- A logical and analytical approach to problem solving
- The ability to work independently and show initiative
- Good IT skills
- Flexibility

The successful applicant should have (or should be expecting) a 2:2 degree or higher in any subject.
