Job Description

Systems Administrator required for a fast developing UK online mapping company. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be keen on keeping up to date with emerging technologies and will be confident working as a part of a team as well as an individual basis.

You will have some experience working with Microsoft Windows Server and SQL, ideally with some knowledge of Linux. You will also be expected to understand Internet and Web technologies as well as have some database experience. You will be involved with installation, configuration and maintenance of local and remote IT hardware and software, both at our offices and at our datacentre in London. You will provide desktop support to office staff and take on customization of SQL reporting tools already in place.

This is a hands-on role with potential to grow and progress your skill set. Suitable candidates would include those with 1-2 years' experience of working in a help desk environment or internal systems team, or a recent computer science / engineering graduate with practical experience of configuration and networking.
