Job Description
Our client, a key player in the Edinburgh financial services market, requires a recently qualified accountant to join a small team within its Life & Pensions division to support the data gathering, analysis and financial management reporting for the company's European businesses, to meet management information reporting requirements. You will analyse, develop and support the implementation of new accounting and reporting procedures, working to tight timescales. Knowledge of regulatory reporting environments and requirements is essential, along with some previous experience in the financial sector. In particular, Life assurance experience would be desirable. You will be a dynamic team player with strong communication, organisation and multi-tasking skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to international business, working with teams in Edinburgh, Germany and Ireland during an exciting period of significant change.
