Our client, are Europes leading recruitment communications, resourcing solutions and education marketing company. Due to growth we are searching for an account manager/advertising account manager to join the team in Nottingham.
This is a varied and challenging account manager role that involves maintaining ongoing and regular contact with clients to check on service levels and efficiency of current work and identify future creative campaigns. To identify new business opportunities within the designated client portfolio and through networking with media and client contacts. To build client relationships at an operational level through personal visits and to project manage the work of the studio, creative, account handling to ensure work is produced to deadline. To maintain strong contacts within the media to enhance the agencys working relationship and keep up to date with market information. Other responsibilities involve day to day direction of the team to cover all operational requirements.
The ideal candidate will have worked as an account manager for 2+ years within an advertising/marketing agency preferably within recruitment advertising/education marketing. Candidates must have strong project management and organisational skills and be able to work under pressure to meet constant and changing deadlines. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to make a contribution to new business pitches. Candidates must be PC literate with a basic knowledge of Apple Macs and have excellent attention to detail.
