Job Description

An environmental, engineering and planning consultancy is seeking an air quality risk assessor for its Essex based office.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree or higher level in an appropriate discipline and will have a full understanding of geological systems with respect to contaminant migration. The successful candidate would be expected to produce preliminary geological and hydrogeological assessments from site investigation and published information.

Experience with Environment Agency approved models e.g. LandSim or similar, with a full understanding of the sensitivities and derivation of model parameters is an advantage.

Qualifications/Skills Required

- Degree educated in an appropriate discipline
- Full understanding of geological systems with respect to contaminant migration
- Able to produce preliminary geological and hydrogeological assessments from site investigation & published information
