Job Description

2 x SAS Data Analysts required to work for large Data Consultancy based in London, initially a three month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. Duties will include: -

Manipulating and interrogating data using SAS
Marketing campaign analysis
Ad hoc data analysis
Client liaison
Reporting / presentation of analysis to client
Advising client on use of data and analytical / statistical techniques
Applying statistical modelling techniques to improve understanding / use of data
Day-to-day management of self and projects, with guidance from line manager, to meet client priorities and deadlines
Quality assurance checks, under supervision of line manager

Skills / experience – essential

Use of SAS in a CRM/direct marketing environment
Good degree with substantial mathematical or statistical content
Ability to manipulate large datasets
3+ years experience of applying analytical / statistical methods to business problems (e.g., for testing, targeting, profiling, segmentation, evaluation)
Well-developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Methodical and able to cope with changing priorities / several projects at a time
