Chartered Architects with an extensive portfolio in a diverse variety of projects including the leisure, commercial, residential and refurbishment sectors and specialising in educational and research facilities.
The practice carries out all aspects of architectural work from feasibility study through to construction. They believe that listening to their clients and responding to their needs not only satisfies the problem but leads to good architecture.
The location of the practice makes it easily accessible from Harrogate and Leeds. There is plenty of parking on the business park and facilities include a health club and several restaurants/pubs.
The benefits package offered by this practice includes 20 days holiday (increasing to 25 with long service) and with the option of buying/selling an additional 5 days, contributory pension and health and life insurances. There is also the option to work on a flexitime basis.
An increase in workload means that an Architect is sought to work on commercial and education projects. Projects include office developments, research laboratories and other facilities for educational establishments. You will run a medium-sized team to assist at all stages of the various projects.
Qualifications/Skills Required
As a qualified Architect (RIBA registered) you will come from a commercial background with experience working on a range of projects. CAD literate you will have a good working knowledge of Building and Planning Regulations. You will also be given job running responsibilities so a proven track record of this would be useful.
