Job Description
My London based rail client requires an Asset Support Manager to work within Lifts & Escalators. The post holder will be reporting to the Asset Delivery Manager and will ensure asset condition and performance is maintained to specified levels and legislative requirements.
Duties will include:
• Investigation, analysis and resolution of asset failures. Recommend and implement cost effective solutions and provide technical advice to the business
• Develop and draft asset maintenance specifications which meet technical performance standards
• Ensure standards of maintenance contractors are to business requirements (competence and safety) and ensure changes in standards are forwarded to the contractor and are adhered to.
• Evaluation of documentation for all areas of the business from a technical perspective ensuring requirements of the business are met
• Manage and monitor maintenance contract spend against maintenance budget
• Ensure assets under maintenance are inspected/audited on regular basis to ascertain technical, quality and safety maintenance standards are met
To be considered for the role you must have:
• 5 years maintenance and managerial experience
• In depth understanding of maintenance within Lifts & Escalators
• Computer Literate
• Must have a full driving license
• Must be physically fit.
