Job Description
A market leading company based in London are currently seeking a skilled Assistant Buying Manager. Working for this printing & publishing market leader the successful candidate will come on board and work on 3 core areas. These being:
1) Product Development & Ordering - this will involve working closely with editorial team & suppliers to ensure correct products are purchased. Tracking all sampling, evaluating all products in regards to safety etc.
2) Buying - Dealing with global suppliers in order to purchase particular collectables, briefing & obtaining quotes from suppliers etc. Ensuring cost remain within budget.
3) Managing Relationships - Working & developing relationships with companies licensees & overseas offices, working closely with all departments.
This is just a brief description of what is required. The ideal candidate will therefore have:
- A minimum of 5 years Purchasing experience within a print & publishing company
- Knowledge and experience of buying collectables.
