Job Description
Our Client, one of Germany's largest and most respected Ship Owning Groups, is looking to recruit a Marine Insurance Assistant.
The person to be appointed will assist in the Marine Insurance Department and duties include, amongst others:
Assisting with presentations and quotations
Assisting with various additions and changes throughout the policy year
Documentation relating to underwriting matters
Communicating with various insurers
Assisting in the placing of cover for breach voyages
Assisting with miscellaneous matters relating to Marine Insurance
He/she will work closely with the Underwriting Manager and ensure that deadlines are met and that reports are prepared in a timely fashion.
Qualifications/Skills Required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar position will be considered advantageous
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of MS Office Suite
Proficiency in the use of email
Good knowledge of English is mandatory
