Job Description
COMPUTER PEOPLE WILL PAY COMPETITIVELY
Assistant Programme Controller wanted for a government client to be based in London for 6 months to start in September.
The Assistant Programme Controller will:
?Work with the appropriate authorities to recruit temporary or permanent staff to those positions within the overall Control Office that are vacant.
?Support the Programme Controller by undertaking delegated activities and deputising.
?Manage the group of consultant and permanent Business/Requirements Analysts until their designated manager has been appointed.
?Produce action plans to identify the transformation from the re-alignment that will be operative from September to a finished re-organised, fully staffed Programme Control function operating to common and effective processes and procedures that satisfy the users? requirements.
?Take such action directly or through delegation as is necessary to see the above plan fulfilled.
?Carry out other tasks identified by the Programme Controller.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
Current Security Clearance to at least CTC Level
?Extensive experience of Programme Management.
?Extensive experience of managing a Programme Management or Support Office.
?Experience of leading organisational change.
?Thorough knowledge of the OGC Gateway process, preferably as a reviewer.
?Experience of recruiting.
?Experience of fulfilling a strategic management role.
?Managing staff and customers expectations to accept and realise a proposed solution.
?Experience of interacting with Trade Unions.
