Point Nine Recruitment are working onbehalf of a prestigious client who are seeking Assisted Living Managers for Guildford.

there is an excellent salary of between £25-£30000 per annum being offered to the right candidates who will have experience and qualifications as follows:

The assisted living manager is responsible for the overall management and success of the general assisted living community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to hiring, recruiting, and training care assistants for this community; team member recognition, annual performance reviews, and ongoing coaching and counselling of team members; when necessary facilitation of resident care conferences and the completion of Individualised Service Plans; completing the team member staffing schedule according to budget guidelines; completing assurance programs and submitting payroll hours as per the organisation's policy policy.

It is expected that the assisted living manager complete any required training and become knowledgeable in the organisation's philosophy, principles of service, and policies and procedures. This knowledge becomes the foundation for future decision making. As the leader of the general assisted living community, the assisted living manager is expected to develop and maintain a positive atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and team members.

- Qualifications
Two (2) years experience in long term care, assisted living, the hospital industry, or other human services field
Supervisory and management experience
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Able to direct the work of others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Has good organisational and time management skills
Experience with seniors preferred
Possesses the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English
Able to make responsible choices and decisions and act in a resident’s best interest
NVQ 4 in Care and The Registered Managers Award or equivilant.

- 5 Star Requirements -
Complete Star Gate Orientation, Star Levels 1, 2, and 3 within 90 days
Complete Star Level 4 and 5 within the timeframe outlined in 5 Star and Me
Any required management training
