Associate/Associate Director - Mechanical Building Services sought for a newly opened office in Sheffield. The office has been operational for 6 months now and is already home to a small team carrying out work on a number of Sheffield and South Yorkshire schemes.
This large organisation has several other offices in the North of the country and there is a very large team in place who will be able to support you in your personal and teams development.
Sectors covered include Education, Healthcare, Industry, High-rise, Retail, Commercial and Financial. your role will be to drive through improvements in commercial management, technical excellence and client care and to develop the client base in line with the overall strategy of the Business Unit.
Qualifications/Skills Required
In this senior level role, you will be expected to lead and manage teams of engineers, providing communication, supporting career development, ensuring staff retention, knowledge sharing and team working while taking responsibility for all aspects of implementing budgetary strategies, including fee bidding, working capital management, debtors, invoicing and forecasting for the centre.
You will be responsible for embracing and improving the technical delivery and skills of the team, especially with regard to low carbon building design and assisting with the strategic growth of the team. A key part of your role will be actively securing work for the M&E team.
You should have proven experience in the construction industry and be a Chartered Building Services Engineer and ideally have worked as team leader previously and demonstrate a solid background in project delivery and in holding a client facing role.
