The role of Associate Director is a business critical appointment and you will play a key role in the further development of the team in the Yorkshire region (Sheffield and Leeds offices). Currently around 130 strong their scope of work covers all aspects of infrastructure and regeneration including ground investigation, contaminated land, site development and planning, drainage and roads design.
You will report to the Group Leader for the business unit in Yorkshire and will have full involvement in a wide range of projects with your main responsibility being to act in a management capacity to lead project design and management of regeneration schemes.
You will be expected to liaise closely with other teams and to help develop a multi-disciplinary approach aimed at satisfying client requirements. Other day to day activities will include attending management meetings as necessary and acting as a key contact with your client base to manage projects through to handover. You will also be expected to play an active part in personnel related activities such as mentoring and recruitment.
Qualifications/Skills Required
Candidates for this role will be able to demonstrate a strong civil engineering background working on regeneration projects. Chartered, you will have previously held project critical roles and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in successful project delivery.
You will be a confident, clear communicator able to lead from the front and manage time and resources to maximum efficiency. Keen to take on the challenge that this role can offer you will be confident in you people and project management skills and also capable of undertaking business development activities as required.
