This is a particularly interesting time within their water business. ‘Water Consultancy’ is an increasingly busy area and is focused on providing professional advice across the full range of business activities primarily to their existing clients within the UK water industry.

‘Water Environment’ which sits alongside the consultancy business is involved in a number of environmentally related projects, again for a number of existing clients and their scope of work includes:
- Water Resources
- Hydrology and Hydrogeology
- Flood Risk Assessment, Hydraulics and River Modelling
- Integrated Catchment Management
- Environmental Impact Assessment
- Drainage Impact Assessment and SUDs
Reporting to an Operations Director your role will ultimately be a management role requiring you to oversee a team and ensure project delivery. It will encompass all aspects of project and personnel management as well as requiring you to take an active part in developing new business with existing and new clients.

Qualifications/Skills Required
The successful candidate for this role will be a conscientious, client focused individual with a confident attitude and the ability to manage projects, people and budgets. You will have gained strong experience in some of the areas mentioned and will be a Chartered Engineer / Environmentalist with a relevant professional institution such as CIWEM.
You will be someone who enjoys a challenge, is well organised and capable of organising a busy workload. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be capable of representing the company in a professional manner.
It is essential that you have project management skills and a positive outlook on developing our clients business as well as your own career and those who you manage.
