BRANCH MANAGER
Purpose of the Role:
To manage the day to day operations of the branch, leading the team to achieve and exceed corporate sales targets, exceeding member growth by generating new business opportunities. To be proactive in developing external contacts in the intermediary market. Involvement in the local community through local initiatives and community projects. Will strive to achieve a profitable branch through achievement of all sales targets and management of cost and budgets. Operates in a compliant environment ensuring regulatory requirements are adhered to at all times.
Qualifications
At least 5 GCSE's (including Maths and English Language) at grade ‘C' or above (or equivalent).
Full CeMAP or willingness to achieve within 12 months of appointment
Experience
Proven sales experience in a financial services environment
Proven experience of managing people
Proven experience in developing external contacts and business development
Knowledge
Comprehensive knowledge of sales techniques
Sound understanding of motivation and performance management techniques
Skills/Abilities
The ability to form effective relationships at all levels
Ability to motivate staff to deliver against sales targets
PC Skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Other
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to have overnight stays as required
Applies a flexible approach to working hours
