Job Description

An international multi-disciplinary consultancy to the built, natural, social and economic environment is seeking a Built Environment Consultant to work in its Cardiff office.

The successful candidate will be required to act as a Consultant for a diverse sector of clients/ projects including healthcare, education, defence, law and order, regional development, and infrastructure. The post will require specialist training and as such the candidate should have a sound background knowledge of the built environment including sustainable construction processes; energy monitoring and reduction techniques; waste reduction and recycling; air, land and water pollution protection and ecological enhancement strategies. A personal interest in sustainability issues would be advantageous.

A full clean driving license will be required as some travel throughout England and Wales will be required as will occasional work away from home.

Qualifications/Skills Required

- A recognised qualification to HNC/ HND/ degree level
- Consideration will be given to time served candidates
- At least 3 years relevant experience in an appropriate sector
- Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, access and powerpoint
