Job Description
A rapidly growing, small to medium-sized Social Enterprise Company in the recycling industry is looking for a well-spoken candidate with an excellent command of English to join our Business Development Team. Our clients are mainly blue-chip firms and large public sector organisations across the UK. As a Business Development Executive you will generate new members for our recycling programme through emails, phone calls and letters. This is not a call centre role; you will be working in a friendly but goals-orientated environment. This job would also suit someone from charity fundraising background.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Contacting large Corporations and Public Sector organisations via email and telephone
- Responding to enquiries from these organisations via email, telephone and letters.
- Liaising with the clients and transport companies to collect items to be recycled.
- Developing relationships with the clients and to look after any client needs.
- Organising and maintaining the collections diary
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Experience in telesales, customer services and other outbound telephone positions
- Experience in Business to Business Sales
- Confidence in dealing with very high level staff such as company Directors
- Excellent command of English and a good telephone manner
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic person with a lot of persistence and initiative
- Highly responsible and trustworthy person
- Well-organised and a good time-keeper
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
- Up to £40,000 p.a. pay package (including Bonus), up to £20,000p.a. Basic (Depending on Experience)
- 28 days annual paid holiday leave
