Rochdale AFC are now recruiting a Business Development Manager. This is a position of responsibility and considerable potential and the successful applicant can look forward to a rewarding and fulfilling career within a professional football club.
In this role you will build and develop relationships with current clients and will also be responsible for generating new business. Our current client list includes a wide variety of businesses and individuals and you will have sole responsibility for delivering the highest levels of service to all clients, as well as maxmising all sales opportunities. In addition to this, you will be required to develop the business, adding to the current portfolio of clients by identifying and following up leads and converting them into sales.
Qualifications/Skills Required
The ideal candidate for this position will
• Have sales and account management experience
• Be able to deal with a wide range of businesses and individuals
• Be prepared to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Be able to prioritise and manage workload
• Be able to work to tight deadlines
• Be experienced and comfortable when meeting current and potential clients
• Have met and exceeded targets in previous role(s)
• Be prepared to undertake ad-hoc activities as required from time-to-time
• Be flexible and prepared to work outside standard hours as the business requires.
