Job Description
One of the UK's leading Tour Operators is currently seeking a number of Business Development Managers to develop 3 of the company's major brands by maximising sales through the parent companies retail travel agencies
The role will include management of existing retail travel accounts and sourcing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for all aspects of the sales mix, including regional commercial negotiations, organisation of promotions and exhibitions, monitoring of sales performance and tactical activity. You will also work closely with the Regional Managers to develop business, along with meeting individual branches to discuss sales, conversions and to offer training to staff.
The successful candidates MUST have a minimum of 2 years travel industry experience and currently doing a similar role. You will be self-motivated, commercially aware and organised. You MUST be numerate and analytical, have excellent time management, and presentation skills.
Training experience along with negotiating commercial contracts is desirable. The successful candidates must be flexible and have a willingness to work long and unsociable hours including extensive UK and overseas travel
In return you can expect a basic salary between £16'000 - £24'000 (dependant on experience) + company car + bonus + fantastic benefits
