Job Description
This fast growing CRO is recruiting within it's Business Development department and is recruiting an individual who will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing the accounts of existing and prospective clients in an assigned geographical location.
The job holder will also establish and maintain client relationships with decision makers in the biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries.
Key duties include:
Analyzing industry activity. Developing annual business plans for assigned territory. Participate with management in the development and implementation of the sales and marketing plan. Periodically review annual business plan.
Plan and implement quarterly objectives of the sales action plan, and communicate with staff, to achieve sales action goals and objectives.
Develop account strategies for all appropriate clients in the assigned territory.
Maintain records for assigned territory.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- B.A./B.S. degree in a science related field or equivalent
- 7 years experience in clinical research, with two to five years in a Site Management Organization or Contract Research Organization
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
