Job Description

We are looking to find four engineering buyers for a multinational automotive client. The primary function of the position is to support cost reduction, part sourcing and PDT.

Main responsibilities:

-Production parts processing.
-Manage supplier relationships and cost-reduction activities
-To manage one or more commodities and take responsibility for all cost issues including commercial and technical cost reduction.
-Interface with key functions such as design and manufacturing.

Required experience:

-Candidates should have 3-5 years relevant purchasing or cost management experience ideally gained in a manufacturing environment.
-Strong negotiation skills gained in the purchasing of production parts in large numbers.
-Project Mangement skills required
-Some International travel necessary
