Their Street Lighting Team is c25 personnel spread across their UK offices. In order to meet these they are actively recruiting for their teams in Manchester, Newcastle and Leeds.
Project scope is as varied as you could hope for and ranges from small scale residential schemes through to major motorway projects including the design for the single largest scheme in the UK to install 1000+ columns on a section of the M1. Other projects include various Local Authority / PFI schemes, Private developments, Highways Agency MAC contracts and a large body of work for TfL.

A CAD Technician is required to join a busy Street Lighting Design Team and play a vital support role in delivering street lighting design packages.
You will primarily be involved with producing accurate CAD drawings and will also be required to keep an accurate database of drawings and information.
It will be your responsibility to help develop and maintain high quality standards for lighting design and you can expect to be involved in working with colleagues across the business.
The role has good development prospects with the potential to progress into a Senior Technician role which will see you have more of a role in supervising junior CAD staff.
Qualifications/Skills Required
The successful candidate for this role will be someone who enjoys using CAD software, is comfortable working within a busy environment and enjoys working in a team.
You will have gained a relevant civil engineering or electrical related qualification such as HNC/HND alongside recent UK consultancy based experience working on civil or electrical engineering schemes. Any specific street lighting experience would be an advantage.
