Job Title: Rental Sales Agent
Business: Vehicle Rental Company
Job Purpose
This position has the responsibility for performing rental and return transactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner. Whilst ensuring ‘guaranteed customer satisfaction’ and revenue growth.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Observe uniform and personal appearance as laid down by company standards.
2. Complete Rental Agreement transactions on BMS, or Manual Agreements as necessary in accordance with company procedures and working practice.
3. Maximise “Walk Up” business and offer customers all rental related services including Fuel Purchase Options and Up Sells to maximise incremental sales opportunities.
4. Explain Conditions of Rental Agreements including Insurance Options and Rental Charges.
5. Work standard reports in BMS to control 28-day billings, overdue and tentatively opened and closed agreements. Ensure prompt closure of Close Agreements.
6. Monitor Reservation and Rental Return Manifests, liaise with Quality Agent Colleagues to ensure efficient “turn around” of vehicles.
7. Ensure all transactions are completed to achieve maximum customer satisfaction levels.
8. Manage customer issues/concerns regarding rentals, resolving any complaints within limits of authority.
9. Ensure problems/concerns regarding rentals are dealt with according to company standards.
10. Maintain work area, ensuring it is kept clean and tidy on a daily basis.
11. Ensure compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety standards, and report any serious concerns to senior management immediately.
12. Perform any other duties and ‘special assignments’ as required by the business or directed by Supervisors/Managers.

1. Good communication skills both verbal and written.
2. Experience of customer service/relations environment.
3. Computer literate and the ability to learn new systems.
4. Full Driving License.
5. Ability to work as part of a team.
6. Be able to solve work related issues quickly and efficiently.
7. This position is based close to Heathrow Airport, and requires you to be able to work shifts, 6 days on, 3 days off. Early shift starts at 0600hrs and the latest shift ends at midnight.
