As a leading provider of care to people in their own homes Care UK is looking to expand its current workforce. We welcome applications from anyone seeking work in this sector. Our branch has vacancies for care work in and around Harrow.

Care UK provides personal, individualised care to people in their own homes. We are seeking committed, flexible staff to join our professional team providing personal care and some practical assistance. There are full or part-time hours available, but we are particularly looking for evening and weekend workers. An NVQ in Care is desirable but not essential, as we offer full and comprehensive training (including access to NVQs), in addition to 24 days’ paid holiday.

Qualifications/Skills Required

Essential:
• A commitment to complete NVQ2 in Social Care
• Basic verbal, numeracy and written skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• A clear understanding of confidentiality issues
• Ability to recognise human rights to include choice, dignity, equality and independence
• Flexible and enthusiastic approach
• Smart professional appearance
• Focus on providing excellent customer service
• Reliable and dependable
• Use of own mobile phone

Desirable:
• NVQ2 in Care qualification or similar recognised social/health care qualification
• Previous experience of work in the care profession
• Access to own transport
• Interest in developing career in care.
