Job Description

Our client is a leading national telecommunications provider with offices and operations across Australia. They are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior IP Engineer to join a team of professionals providing 24x7 technical support, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning and maintenance of next generation L2/L3 multi service routers deployed into leading telecommunications carrier networks.



As such, you will have the experience, qualifications and desire to be deeply involved in the leading edge deployment of next generation core network technology along with the challenges and rewards of such a role



An excellent communicator , you will be responsible for troubleshooting and the timely resolution of customer enquiries in a mission critical environment and be involved with the proactive monitoring of customer networks and experience of dealing with Tier 1 carriers and large telecommunications vendors

A self starter with the ability to work either autonomously or in a team environment combined , with a minimum 5 years experience with carrier grade IP routing and L2/L3 switching ideally combined with tertiary qualifications or extensive experience.

Qualifications/Skills Required

Ideally degree qualified, you should hold a number of industry certification such as CCNP/IE, JNCIS/IE or equivalent experience in IP/MPLS or ATM networking
