Job Description

Overall Job Purpose
Within your designated area, to design the 2G and 3G cellular network within the UK, based on requirements identified by Marketing. Working closely with the Project Management Team to ensure cost-effective sites are delivered in time to meet the required level of coverage and quality of service requirements.

This will include the creation of Cell Databuild and post integration Optimisation of sites into the Network. You will also be responsible for the 2g and 3g Network performance of a particular geographical area assigned to you, within the South region of the network. Constant monitoring of the performance trends is required to sustain and improve the quality of the Network in your designated area.

Skills Required
Minimum 2 years experience in 2G Cell Planning and Optimisation.
Experience in Radio Access Network fault investigation and resolution

Desirable
3G Cell Planning and Optimisation skills
Experience with Ericsson/Nortel 2g and Nokia 3g hardware
University/College degree or degree calibre preferably from telecommunications or Radio Engineering background
