Job Description

As a Senior Flash Developer at our client's studio, you'll be working on a wide variety of projects for a stellar roster of clients. You'll be working with a team of producers, designers and animators to create world-class rich internet applications, games, websites, and other compelling, entertaining, and educational web experiences.

You will lead by example, mentor junior developers, share knowledge with the development group, and help us stay on the forefront of technology with your innovations.

Responsibilites
• Participate in project brainstorms
• Write technical specifications
• Be the lead developer on the project from start to finish
• Manage other developers
• Self-manage your tasks and time
• Create technical documentation
• Communicate with clients to provide technical feedback/advise
• Create frameworks, templates and documentation for others to use

Requirements
• 4+ years developing Flash content
• ActionScript 2.0
• Flash games and applications
• Ability to create frameworks and API's for use by others
• JavaScript
• Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates
• Motivated self-starter who likes working on fast-paced projects
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle more than one project at a time

Ideal
• BA in Computer Science or equivalent
• Flash Remoting
• Flash Communication Server
• Server-side scripting (PHP, ASPX, CF)
• Game and/or application programming knowledge in other languages.
• Experience with kid-focused websites, games and interactive activities is a big plus.
