Job Description
The work of the group is varied and accordingly any successful applicant (bearing in mind their relative seniority) will need the following skills:
1.A knowledge of contentious Construction litigation and adjudication work.
2.The ability to lead or begin to take the lead on transactions, liaising and coordinating with fee earners from other relevant disciplines.
3.The ability to contribute to the general upkeep of the group (whether that be to training, precedents, or know-how generally)
4.A proven record of a high standard of client care for existing clients at the highest level
5.The enthusiasm to market to clients.
6.Good sense of humour and the ability to fit into a team based environment.
Our client has a strong reputation for providing Associates with early levels of responsibility within a supportive, stretching environment and so anyone taking up this role can expect to have a significant part in leading projects for major blue-chip clients. The ability and desire to take the initiative when required will therefore be particularly important.

The successful candidate will have:
Excellent academic achievement
Contentious construction experience gained within a quality environment likely but not exclusively to be within a large or mid-tier firm
Strong commercial awareness
Excellent negotiation skills
Proven team working
