Job Description
A Communications Officer is required by our local authority client to support the additional communications work load in the run up to a departmental inspection.
You will be editing and project managing a range of publications for the public, staff and councillors. This will involve liaising with third parties (e.g printers, photographers, designers etc) in the production of publications/publicity as well as managing the schedule and quality of work commissioned from external and internal agencies.
Event management skills will be needed as you will also be arranging launches, briefings and photocalls in conjunction with the press office.
You must have a minimum of 2 years experience in either communications and/or marketing as well as in project management, editing and producing publications.
This role is a temporary booking for 4 months and will be based in South West London. Only candidates who are immediately available will be considered.
