Job Description

A Strategy Officer is required by a Local Authority to join their team to provide strategic development within Housing. You will be required to maintain links for consultative purposes, provide strategic direction of Equalities and Diversity for Housing and to facilitate major housing consultation exercises including Housing Strategy Conferences.You will have knowledge of community development, resident participation and equalities from a strategic and practical perspective with an understanding of current strategic issues in housing You will have experience of developing strategies to empower and enable tenants and other stakeholders to participate effectively and have experience of capacity building at an organisational and individual level.
