Job Description

Composites Engineer
Evaluate and propose high technological improvements to enable the organization achieve technological excellence and ensure its competitiveness.

Evaluate, participate and support the initiatives associated to research and development and to purchase of new equipment. In addition, you will have to support the activities related to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures in the composite sector, especially those related to the new CSeries Program.  

You are familiar with the manufacturing processes related to new manufacturing processes related to composites in the aerospace field and you are ready to innovate.

Qualifications/Skills Required

Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or any other related experience with approx. five (5) to ten (10) years experience.
Good knowledge of new composite processes in aerospace field and knowledge of other manufacturing processes used in the aerospace industry.
Good basic knowledge of project management, good communication and organization skills.
A passion for achieving technological excellence.
A minimum R&D experience is required, or at least being highly interested in R&D in the manufacturing field.
Good command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Knowledge of MS Project.
