Job Description

Conjugation Chemist/Immunoasay Developer
Our client is seeking a Conjugation Chemist/Immunoassay Developer Assay for the Transfer, Development and Optimisation on electrochemical biosensors for development of a clinical and veterinary diagnostic platform instrument; other applications to be targeted are in the food and environmental sectors.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in immunoassay development and conjugation chemistry, namely protein-protein coupling and protein-chemical coupling. The experience and capability to conjugate small inert molecules to a protein would be desirable. The ability to work independently and take on a research project get results and back it up with a written report is essential. A BSc or higher is desirable but not essential.

The person must be able to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment and have working experience of GLP/GMP. Further knowledge of immunochemical techniques, product development or electrochemistry would be a big bonus.

Salary : £25,000 - £35,000 (negotiable)
