Job Description
Established some 30 years ago the practice has a number of regular clients. They sell themselves as offering a personal service to clients and have a director or associate running the project. They offer both architectural and interiors services to clients across a range of sectors which predominantly include education, healthcare and commercial which each make up around a third of the business. Current projects include a £40million hospital and a £20million school and their average project is worth between £5million and £10million.
The location is particularly good for those wishing to relocate. The Peak District is close by and offers a good work/life balance.
There is a healthy balance of ‘give and take’ in the office with a practical attitude towards taking time off to go to the doctors and so on. Staff are trusted and given the responsibility to manage their own workload.
With a healthy workload this practice requires an Architectural Technician to join their team. You will work on a range of projects and be given job running responsibilities in time.
This is potentially an on-going contractual position.
Qualifications/Skills Required
As a qualified Architectural Technologist/Technician you will ideally have education, health or commercial experience. Good AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop, UK Building Regulation knowledge and good communication skills are essential.
