Job Description
My Client a leading IT recruitment agency with offices across the UK require a contract recruitment consultant for their thriving Leeds branch.
Job Purpose
i. To achieve an annual sales quota and other targets / performance levels set and agreed.
ii. To canvass clients and candidates within a specified vertical skills market with a view to placing IT contractors.
iii. To ensure as full coverage as possible of the specified vertical skills market.
iv. The placement of IT contractors from vacancies canvassed or unsolicited vacancies provided by clients within the specific vertical skills market.
Principal Accountabilities
o Regularly canvass clients and candidates within the specified vertical skills market seeking out new and repeat business. The rules for canvassing and client contact are detailed in the Terms of Engagement.
o To arrange effective sales meetings on a regular basis as directed by the Sales Director or line manager to undertake the selling of the companys services.
o To assist where required in the process of responding to ITTs received from companies within the allocated sales territory.
o To endeavour at all times when in contact with clients to obtain current and/or future contract vacancies. To evaluate such vacancies and to initiate, either by telephone or meeting, all necessary procedures, including the provision of comprehensive job specifications, to allow prospective candidates to be contacted without undue delays. In the absence of other resources the Sales Consultants or Team Leader will undertake any input, production and dispatch of CVs and letters with regard to the assignment(s).
Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months experience within recruitment. In return the company offer a basic salary of up to £25,000 with an OTE of £40,000 in the first year
