Job Description

Corporate Lawyers, Leading Investment Firm - Ds769
Our client, a leading private investment bank with offices in London, New York, Moscow, Kiev, Switzerland and
Nicosia, due to exciting expansion of the Cyprus office, seeks to recruit high calibre professionals to join its expanding legal team in Nicosia.

We are seeking individuals at all levels that have ideally completed their legal studies in the UK and have gained Postgraduate experience. Experience in corporate law will be considered an advantage.

The position

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Cypriot and EU regulatory matters for CySec regulated
entities in Cyprus and reporting directly to the Cyprus Legal and Compliance Manager and the Global Compliance Director in London.
Additional duties of the role will include providing legal and regulatory advice to the Group’s business functions both in Cyprus and abroad
Implementing compliance and monitoring procedures for Cyprus
Updating the Group on the impact of incoming EU
Directives and local Regulations
Managing clients’ files and collect necessary documents

Qualifications/Skills Required

The requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Law or in a related subject (a degree from an English speaking University will be considered an
advantage)
Member of the Cyprus Bar Association an advantage
Initiative
Strong work ethic
Excellent team player
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent oral and written communication skills English. Knowledge of Greek or Russian languages will be
considered an advantage
Remuneration
