Job Description
We are looking for an experienced council tax customer Service Officers who can deal with queries on all types of claims.
First point of contact for customers enquiring about CTB. The staff here will need good basic knowledge of CTB. They will need to be able to do the following:
Answer questions about the calculation of the customer's claim
Explain the notification letter
Obtain evidence from customers of their income, rent, etc. In many Local Authorities (LA) they will need to adhere to the Verification Framework (VF). This would mean confirming that they have seen original documents such as passport, tenancy agreement, wage slips, bank statements, etc.
To be able to deal with a range of customers.
Hours – Mon to Fri = 37.
