In 2003 a bold entrepreneurial duo set about a mission, both home and abroad, to cure the common commute. Simply Audiobooks was born. We are a Canadian internet retailer of audio books, and offer rental programs to our fanatical and passionate customer base. We have dominated the North American market so we are heading overseas to bring the joy of talking books to the UK.
We are looking for a dynamic, self starter to run our operations in Manchester You will need to be methodical with a good eye for detail, and extremely organized. Duties will include shipping and receiving the rental audio books, quality assurance and inventory management. You will also be responsible for business reporting so you will need a strong knowledge in computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
In addition to running the operation, you will be responsible for maintaining our customers. The customer service we provide is raved about in the industry, cutting edge with a personal touch. Duties will include what you’d expect in an inbound contact center-answering phones and replying to emails. You would always have full authority to solve our customer’s problems.
Ideally we want someone with management experience, proven leadership skills and most of all, a great personality and the ability to think outside the box.
