Job Description
This position is for an Account Manager / Customer Service Manager working for a builders Merchants based in Colchester, Essex. Hours required: - Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.00pm, Alternate Saturdays (paid or to be taken as additional holiday),
20 days annual leave, Basic Salary £18,000 - £19,000 + Bonus.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following tasks as well as ensuring that they are practised by the other team members, thus leading by example: Ensuring customer requirements are dealt with comprehensively and promptly.
To ensure quotes and enquiries are processed thoroughly and efficiently whilst maximising our conversion rate.
To ensure existing customers receive regular contact from a member of the sales team, with a view to continue to maximise sales from these customers.
To ensure that the whole team communicates well everyone in the organisation.
Experience required: - To have reasonable experience of building materials,
To have the ability to communicate well with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
To have a desire to achieve the highest level of results whilst constantly being alert to ways of achieving this. To work well as part of a team. To be familiar with windows style computer systems. To keep informative and accurate records.
