Job Description
We are looking for experienced customer Service Officers who can deal with queries on all types of claims.§ First point of contact for customers enquiring about HB/ CTB. The staff here will need good basic knowledge of HB/ CTB. They will need to be able to do the following:
Answer questions about the calculation of the customer's claims
Explain the notification letters
Advise about overpayments
Obtain evidence from customers of their income, rent, etc. In many Local Authorities (LA) they will need to adhere to the Verification Framework (VF). This would mean confirming that they have seen original documents such as passport, tenancy agreement, wage slips, bank statements, etc
To be able to deal with a range of customers
Hours – Mon to Fri = 37.
