Job Description

Our client is looking for a disciplines or electrical engineer with a background in the oil or gas industries and ideally would have a formal qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering. The successful candidate would be involved in the day to day running of the electrical engineering section of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department.

Suitable applicants should also have a good knowledge of risk assessments and be fully conversant with and able to implement Health and Safety Regulations e.g. COSHH, VDU, Confined Spaces etc.

The role involves reviewing the technical and commercial aspects of project specifications with reference to project bid allowances, Liasing directly with clients, sub-contractors and internal Departments on all technical matters relating to the design of packages. As well as to ensure, in conjunction with the various departments involved, that all certification and QA / QC requirements for each project are adequately met.
