Gap Guru is an exciting organisation which specialises in arranging gap year programmes to India.
Due to continued success, the team is now in a position to take on an Enquiries Coordinator.
This role will initially be offered on a contract basis (3 months initially), with the possibility of permanent employment in the future.
The primary purpose of this role will be the involvement of taking enquiries to the application stage. You will be talking with interested applicants, explaining the benefits and services offered by Gap Guru and learning more about their expectations and goals.
It is important that you demonstrate a professional approach and are comfortable with successfully ‘closing’ a call. It is essential that any contacts made are immediately logged on to the Management System.
We are therefore seeking an individual who is enthusiastic, motivated and eager to work at a fast pace. Candidates educated to either A Level or degree standard are preferred, and we would also like to see someone with a track record of selling/customer service (though not a ‘hard sell’).
It is imperative that the successful candidate has traveled extensively or taken a gap year themselves; time spent in India is a definite advantage. Hours will be flexible but may be along the lines of 10-6 or 11.30-7.30.
Qualifications/Skills Required
A Level or degree qualified is preferable, as well as having travelled extensively or taken a gap year. Outbound telephone/sales exp necessary.
